Ideally, the content each user wants to see, from publications vetted for reliability. But unlike the links displayed on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media, what determines the selection and ranking is not who is suggesting them, but the content of the stories themselves. Artifact delivers what looks like a standard feed containing links to news stories, with headlines and descriptive snippets. That problem is the difficulty of finding individually relevant, high-quality news articles-the ones people most want to see-and not having to wade through irrelevant clickbait, misleading partisan cant, and low-calorie distractions to get those stories. In fact, Systrom says that he and Krieger started with the idea of exploiting the powers of machine learning-and then ended up with a news app after scrounging around for a serious problem that AI could help solve. When I talked to Systrom this week about his startup-a much-anticipated follow-up to the billion-user social network that’s been propping up Meta for the past few years-he was emphatic that Artifact is a product of the recent AI revolution, even though it was devised before GPT began its chatting. But not Artifact, the news discovery app created by Instagram cofounders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. This mall isn’t just a shopping destination it’s a vibrant experience, bringing together the best in entertainment and dining on a grand scale. The invasion of chatbots has disrupted the plans of countless businesses, including some that had been working on that very technology for years (looking at you, Google). It hosts a dazzling array of around 40 globally renowned brands and over 20 international restaurant concepts. Spanning a generous 52,088 m2 in leasing space, the building is a haven for exclusive entertainment centers. This outstanding project clinched the esteemed “Best Mall” accolade at the 2021 prestigious “Prix Versailles Africa and West Asia” exhibition. Deniz Mall’s design proudly mirrors the distinctive eight-pointed star found in Azerbaijan’s coat of arms. On June 1, 2020, Deniz Mall softly opened its doors, ushering in a new era of shopping, leisure, and entertainment in central Baku. It adds a powerful audio feature to the spectacle and also features an underwater sound subsystem specially designed for synchronized swimming. The unique viewing experience is complemented by a digital sound system of over 1000 watts. The project features state-of-the-art “Moving head” projectors, RGB lasers, and LED video projectors that display high-quality images on the liquid screen. Lighting plays an important role in creating a unique atmosphere. Surrounding these screens are high-definition LED screens that further enhance the visual experience, displaying all of the still video that fits into the overall show, acting as an animation source and platform for advertising. Supported on rigid steel pipes, these screens are installed at heights of +10m and +27m, with thicknesses of 8m and 4.5m. Additionally, the pool’s north side features stainless steel water features, stairs, and elegant decorations.Ī distinctive feature of the Complex is the circular water plane, which displays stunning waterscapes on full screens. These panels were supported by metal frames treated with a state-of-the-art anti-corrosion treatment. The concrete bottom of the pool is decorated with beautiful mosaics. Examining the specifics, the in-ground round acrylic pool has a diameter of 12 meters and a depth of 6 meters. This unique space revolves around a stunning pool that covers almost the entirety of the 50-meter-high atrium, offering views from every corner of the mall. However, the central atrium of Deniz Mall is its most distinctive feature. The mall has shops, cafes, restaurants, a karting area, a cinema, a Kinderland – children’s park, an amusement park, and even a bowling alley. With an impressive area of 120,000 square meters and a height of up to 70 meters, including two underground car parks, Deniz Mall offers a diverse and multi-faceted experience along the seven floors. This shopping and entertainment complex, designed by Chapman Taylor, draws inspiration from the beautiful lotus flower. The Deniz Mall stands proudly as a striking example of modern architecture. Located on land reclaimed from the Caspian Sea, Deniz Mall covers a massive 300,000 square feet on five floors, making it the largest shopping mall in the Caucasus region.
